Published – Milad & Kelley’s Persian Wedding Austin TX – Villa del Lago

Kelley & Milad had double the fun on their wedding day! First a ceremony at University United Methodist Church followed by a Persian Wedding Austin TX at Villa Del Lago!  The sneak peek from UUMC is on the way, here is a sneak peek from their Persian wedding at Villa del Lago! I love the ceremonial elements.  One element includes a scarf being held over the bride and groom’s heads while two cones of hardened sugar are softly ground together above the couple to shower them in sweetness. And then the Honey Exchange, when the bride and groom dip their little fingers in honey and feed it to each other to symbolize starting the marriage with sweetness. Love it!

Libby in her grandmother’s vintage wardrobe

Casey & Tyler – Escondido Golf & Lake Club – Texas Wedding Photographer

What a stunning wedding!  Casey & Tyler wed at the beautiful Escondido Golf & Lake Club in Horseshoe Bay, TX.   It had everything:  a wonderful bride & groom, a great group of bridesmaids and groomsmen, absolutely incredible families, two of the most precious flower girls you’ve ever seen, an Australian Shepherd honorary Best Man, miles of smiles on the dance floor, and a jaw dropping vintage Corvette.  Bonus:  in addition to being an important food group, I also learned that tortillas make great props for wedding departures!
