Hotel Granduca Wedding

What a beautiful Hotel Granduca wedding!  Madeline & Keith began with a First Look in the lovely sunlit courtyard of Hotel Granduca.  I love their expressions as they see each other for the first time just before the ceremony!  So much love and wonderful laughter shared by Madeline & Keith as they exchanged vows and rings during their ceremony. The reception decor was absolutely beautiful in Hotel Granduca’s gorgeous ballroom.  The party was so much fun, filled with lots of dancing and laughter.  Madeline surprised her grandmother with a bouquet of her very own, just before the single ladies took to the floor for the bouquet toss.  Keith had a great time retrieving the garter and tossing it to the single gents!   After everyone enjoyed delicious cake and a stellar wine selection, guests helped send the lovely couple on their way with a fantastic sparkler departure.

Jones Center Rooftop Wedding

Talk about a memorable and incredible Jones Center rooftop wedding!  Before arriving at The Contemporary Austin’s Jones Center in downtown Austin, Robert & Christopher arranged a first look for their parents at the Capitol!  The grooms wore incredible Dios de los Muertos style jackets with the most intricate embroidery on them.  Needless to say, their parents were thrilled and overjoyed!  After photographing the happy couple, their wedding party and families at the Capitol, we made our way to rooftop of The Jones Center.

Christopher & Robert went all out to surprise their guests with the most incredible Cirque du Soleil style show you can imagine!  It featured aerial silk artists, trapeze, and burlesque dancers….and so much more!  And then for the final (and best!) part of the evening, Christopher & Robert took to the stage to exchange rings and vows surrounded by loving family and wonderful friends.  After heartfelt toasts by family and friends, the couple celebrated with a cake cutting.   The amount of love, laughter, and joy shared between Robert & Christopher, and with their friends and family, was absolutely beautiful.  My very best wishes to the happy couple!

Prospect House Wedding

What a beautiful Prospect House wedding!  Niusha & Andrew exchanged vows and rings during their Baha’i & Christian ceremony as loving family and wonderful friends witnessed the beautiful marriage of this fantastic couple!   Niusha did a fantastic job bringing her vision to life with absolutely beautiful reception decor!  The stunning natural light that fills Prospect House featured the beautiful design work perfectly.  I love the expressions from Niusha & Andrew as they cut their wedding cake and share their first dance as husband and wife!  The reception was so much fun, filled with lots of dancing and laughter.

Highlights from our trip to Iceland, from Reykjavik to Vik and all points in between!  Please be sure to follow us on Instagram (link) to see our upcoming highlight video showing so much more!

We loved every minute of this trip.  Striking natural beauty, stunning waterfalls and topography, and fantastic cultural sites (especially The Harpa in Reykjavik that was featuring a David Bowie portrait exhibit while we were there).  We spent two days in Thingvellir National Park, toured the popular Golden Circle, and even spent a day on Vestmannaeyjar Island to enjoy dinner at Slippurinn.  The highlight was snorkeling in the incredibly blue waters of Silfra within Thingvellir National Park and spending an evening at the geothermal spa, Blue Lagoon.

This photo was taken after midnight, 12:15am!  There was still faint skylight until 12:30am, and then the sunlight started reappearing at 4am.  Be sure your hotel room has blackout curtains!

Barr Mansion Farmstead Wedding
