I had such a great time photographing Caroline’s portrait session with her horses, Avalon & Bailey! The day was absolutely perfect, finishing with a classic brilliant Texas sunset!
WOW! Krissy & Joe’s gorgeous wedding at stunning Villa del Lago was absolutely incredible! We start with some of Krissy’s bridal portraits around the Villa, followed by the wedding day highlights.
With scenic views of Lake Travis in the background, Krissy & Joe exchanged vows on the beautiful overlook under perfectly sunny skies.
After the ceremony, it was time for group photos in front of the jaw-dropping waterfall, followed by pictures of the happy couple around the gorgeous villa (are we in Texas or Tuscany?!). Later that evening, with that gorgeous sunset, we photographed a few more portraits of the happy couple as the sun quickly dipped below the horizon. Loving friends and family helped the newlyweds celebrate the night away with lots of dancing, followed by a sparkler departure.
And if you want to become a really good dancer but need dance lessons first, call Krissy’s dad :)
Congratulations, Krissy & Joe!

We had the wonderful honor of photographing Lance & Crissy’s wedding on the island of Capri! We flew in to Naples and took a car to the Amalfi Coast, where we caught a ferry in Positano that took us to Capri. From there, we caught a taxi that took us up up up through the winding roads of the island to the town of Anacapri. It’s much smaller (and much more calm) than the main town of Capri where our ferry landed. It’s fun strolling the small square. Enjoy the freshest seafood and devour gelato to your heart’s content all while enjoying incredible views. The ladies can even have custom sandals made-to-order while you watch!
The views in Anacapri are spectacular, especially when you take the Monte Solaro chair lift to the highest point on the island. The views during the ride are beautiful, taking you over citrus tree fields with sun-kissed blue ocean all around you. It can be a bit windy at the very top! But the views are worth it. Take a short bus ride to our favorite beach on the island, Torre Saracena, situated in a small cove. The water is calm for easy swimming, the views are spectacular, they have chairs and umbrellas to rent, and a surprisingly delicious restaurant (including handmade pasta).
When you find yourself back on the mainland, head to Sant’Agata for a delicious dining experience at Don Alfonso (Michelin 2 star). Arrange a tour of their organic farm directly across the water from Capri. While there, you might as well join a cooking class! Also ask to see their subterranean wine cellar (originally built as an escape route from Saracen invasion in the late 800’s).
Here is a fun highlight reel with just a handful of our favorite places!

I love all of the beautiful cultural elements Megan & Tunde incorporated in to their ceremony. They include the ceremonial weaved baskets and the beautiful traditional wedding attire worn by Tunde’s family!
Congratulations, Megan & Tunde!
We’re so excited to have Milad & Kelley’s Persian Wedding Austin TX published on The Knot! Villa del Lago was the setting for the couples beautiful Persian wedding, including the stunning Sofreh Aghd. Be sure to check out much more from their wedding (I love the honey exchange!):

Kelley & Milad had double the fun on their wedding day! First a ceremony at University United Methodist Church followed by a Persian Wedding Austin TX at Villa Del Lago! The sneak peek from UUMC is on the way, here is a sneak peek from their Persian wedding at Villa del Lago! I love the ceremonial elements. One element includes a scarf being held over the bride and groom’s heads while two cones of hardened sugar are softly ground together above the couple to shower them in sweetness. And then the Honey Exchange, when the bride and groom dip their little fingers in honey and feed it to each other to symbolize starting the marriage with sweetness. Love it!
